SHE Knows Ltd. is an independent organisation based in Hull, East Yorkshire, providing safety training, NVQs and professional consultancy services nationwide and abroad. We boast a wealth of experience across in health, safety, environment, and fire management.
For a limited time, we are offering those who register for our Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Health & Safety Leadership and Management the opportunity to also enrol on the Level 5 Award in Fire Risk Assessment completely free of charge!*
These two qualifications go hand in hand. Learners studying at Level 7 will already have the workplace experience and understanding needed to manage fire risk. This offer allows you to gain formal recognition of your competence with a nationally recognised qualification which is aligned with skills and behaviors outlined in BS 8674: 2025 – Built Environment Framework for Competence of Individual Fire Risk Assessors, and certified by ProQual Awarding Body
The Level 5 Award in Fire Risk Assessment is single-unit, theory-based qualification designed for those who implement fire risk controls in high-risk buildings based on assessments carried out by others, ideal for managers, directors and consultants who lead a team and are responsible for applying fire safety measures rather than creating the FRA themselves.

⭐ We are excited to share that SHE Knows has recently partnered with Riskex.
This partnership makes sense as we both share a commitment to making H&S management simple and accessible to all. While we focus on building up your team’s competence and confidence through training, consultancy, and professional development, Riskex use their 20+ years of experience in digital solutions to make the world of H&S compliance easier to manage with their AssessNET - Health and Safety Management platform, which helps organisations keep everything tidy and in one place, from incident reporting, risk assessments, and training records to COSHH management and DSE compliance.
We are really looking forward to working together to make the world of H&S feel a lot less overwhelming and doable for busy teams who want clear systems, confident people, and less faff!
Did you know ex-forces personnel often possess the ideal skills to have a successful career in H&S?
With Armed Forces Day coming up this Saturday, we want to recognise and support all those who make up the armed forces community, including serving personnel, veterans, reservists, and military families (In fact some of our assessors are ex-forces or milspos themselves!). It also feels like the ideal moment to spotlight our H&S NVQ Programme, which you can use your ELC credits to help fund.
The crossover between the military experience and H&S is suprising, with many of the core skills being the same: ✅ Constantly identifying risks and making quick decisions while staying calm under pressue and adapting to changing situations ✅ Leading teams, briefing and coordinating colleagues, and influencing safe behaviours ✅ Following and enforcing protocol, compliance, safe systems of work and organisational policies ✅ Planning and organisation, audits and inspections (though thankfully not quite the shoe shine and ironing checks you would have had in basic training!)
We are a registered learning provider with ELCAS, meaning you can use your ELC to part-fund your studies with us. If you are ex-forces and looking to gain recognition of your skills and competence for H&S, please do get in touch, we'd love to support you. ☎️ 01482 228942 ✉️ info@she-knows.com
All staff I came in contact with were knowledgeable, approachable, and made the learning engaging and practical.
[My assessor] struck a great balance of being kind, encouraging, and clearly very knowledgeable, which made the whole experience both enjoyable and valuable.
I struggle with exams and having to write pages and pages of answers to a question, the NVQ way was great for me as it was all evidence based and I could explain answers to my assessor.
Andre's help has been amazing and I'm grateful to have had such a dedicated tutor!
[My assessor] has always kept in regular contact and been very supportive and caring
Thank you again for being so supportive and giving me a boost in the right direction when I needed it
SHE Knows were extremely helpful acknowledging that you would recognise my previous work
I wouldn’t have reached my end goals without your support or guidance
