Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Health and Safety Management and Leadership
This qualification is aimed at candidates who are responsible for developing and applying health and safety procedures and planning in a strategic manner. Candidates should be in a managerial role (such as Senior Health and Safety Manager or Consultant) to be considered for this qualification. If you are a holder of the CMIOSH or MIIRSM or CMAPS postnominals, this qualification is a good way of demonstrating continued professional development (CPD). Each unit can be used as an entry to log your development.
Our cost for the ProQual Level 7 diploma covers all your assessment, registration and certification costs so that you concentrate on providing your evidence and demonstrating your knowledge. You have 2 years to complete your NVQ.

SHE Knows delivery methods for this qualification – we are different, not just your average training provider and whilst our delivery format for the Level 7 is a little different to the 6 (if you studied previously with us), you will work with your ProQual approved assessor and each unit will be taken, where possible, in steps rather than a splatter gun approach. Our Assessors are human assessors, not a computer platform or team of admin staff and as a result we will support you if you call or email with a query or question on the standards.
Your study this qualification will encompass work around:
Implementing an Integrated Management System, ISO standard or new software for the business. This could be linked to your IMS or have a specific focus such as your PTW system, a CDM Construction Phase Plan management system and supporting collation of the building H&S Files and O&M manuals. Perhaps you are responsible for the business’ or a clients successful management of an Emergency or Event Management Plan, whatever your specialism you will be required to research and evaluate standards and any linked new software for the business.
Managing safety performance linked to setting, calculating budgets and analysing any return on investments into H&S risk controls made.
Understanding and evaluating the benefits of sustainability in the workplace and the impact that your suggestions may have on your company strategy for the future. How will this affect the businesses continuity and risk management verses its appeal as an employer to the shareholders, will staff social conscience affect the ‘want’ to work for the business?
