Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations
It would be beneficial to have knowledge of electrical installations and electrical science.
This 3 day course is aimed at practising electricians, designers, engineers etc to update and build on their understanding of the wiring regulations. All candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
Course Content:
This course will cover the latest standard of the IET wiring regulations. You will learn to navigate the book and gain an understanding of the essential sections as set out in the contents.
The focus of delivery will be the 8 parts of the latest amendment of this book which are:
- Part 1 – Scope, object and fundamental principles
- Part 2 – Definitions
- Part 3 – Assessment of general characteristics
- Part 4 – Protection for safety
- Part 5 – Selection and erection of equipment
- Part 6 – Inspection and testing
- Part 7 – Special installations or locations
- Part 8 – Functional requirements
