Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

You may be eligible to enrol onto one of our H&S NVQs using work you have already completed in a previous qualification; we call this Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Ideally this learning should have been gained under 2 years ago, but we do understand that a professional discussion around your learning can enable you to utilise some older work. 

For example you may already hold one of the following qualifications:

  • The NVQ Level 3 Certificate and want to work towards to a higher level qualification.
  • The NVQ Level 5 diploma and want to upgrade to the Level 6.
  • One of the NEBOSH Certificates and want to expand on your current skills and learning by moving onto a Diploma.
  • You may have been partway through your studies with NCRQ before the collapse and have some assignments written.

Speak to us about cross-referencing your previous assignments, projects, and knowledge-based evidence against the NVQ standards to see if we can reduce the amount of work you need to do to complete your NVQ, and potentially also reduce the cost!
