Sustainability Courses

We are proud to be an approved training centre with City & Guilds, who are an internationally recognised organisation providing skills development and apprenticeship schemes to over 2 million learners worldwide.

This allows us to offer training courses in Sustainability and the Green Environtment that benefit a wide range of industries, not just in Health and Safety, but in any sector.

C&G Level 2 Award in Sustainability and the Green Environment (7617-02)

This distance-learning course is aimed at learners from any sector who wish to develop or improve their knowledge and understanding of sustainability and the green environment, particularly those who want to work within sustainability, or hold a role in which they have responsibilities for sustainability reviews and planning within their business.

Whilst going through our workbook, candidates will cover topics such as definitions of sustainability, human and non-human impacts on the environment, greenhouse gases, carbon footprints, and national and international policy on net zero. Candidates will be able to complete worksheets along the way to submit to their assessor for continual assessment and support.

This qualification is made up of one unit which is assessed via a short answer, closed book, written paper.

This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to understand sustainable working practices for a specific job role, future job role and ongoing training. It is especially useful for those who want to work within sustainability or who have been given responsibility for sustainability within their organisations. This qualification is designed for use within land-based industries (environmental conservation).

This qualification is also suitable for those who desire to develop or improve their knowledge and understanding of Sustainability and the Green Environment in a range of industries and sectors. It would be particularly useful for progressing into the Sustainability Officer/Co-ordinator/Advisor role and those with job roles which have responsibilities for sustainability reviews and planning within businesses and organisations.
