Confined Space Refresher
- Legislative requirements for entry, RAMS, emergency planning, top man duties
- Gas monitoring with understanding of the term LEL & UEL
- Requirements & methods for carrying out successful ventilation
- Safe evacuation of the confined space
- Inspection & use of breathing air escape sets
- Knowledge of tripod & winch use
- Knowledge of fire extinguisher selection
Working @ Height & Harness Inspection & Use
- Legislative requirements for working with MEWPS, scaffold, mobile towers & excavations
- Principals of the hierarchy of risk
- Fall avoidance
- Recap on harness, lanyards & energy absorbers selection & use
- Harness donning & inspection requirements
- Requirements for the protection of others whilst working at height
- Working over water, access areas & workspaces
- Emergency planning for rescue
- Ladder selection, inspection & positioning
Manual Handling
- Principals of manual handling, including safe handling techniques
- Handling inside confined spaces, at height or as part of a rescue/emergency team
