IOSH SHE Certificate for Construction Workers
The overall objective of this Safety, Health & Environment course is to raise awareness of how workers can benefit from working in a healthier & safer way.
Target
The programme is suitable for construction workers needing a CSCS green “Labourer Card” and replaces the IOSH Working Safely course.
The modules total seven hours in duration. Module one introduces working safely on a construction site, module two looks at hazard and risk, with module three looking at identifying hazards and finally module four – how to improve safety performance.
Certification
The course material is evaluated by means of a 20 question multi-choice assessment and a practical hazard spotting scenario. Successful completion of the programme results in the award of an Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) certificate.
