Agency
SHE Knows (Agency) Ltd, was founded from the principal that we spend time getting to know the people we train, so who better to source the right safety person for your needs?
The people we train range from persons wanting to advance their safety career, (NVQ level 4 in Occupational Health and Safety Practice) or employers asking for assistance to ensure their workforce are competent (asbestos awareness, or IOSH Managing Safely). We make sure we understand your business before recommending a course of training, to ensure it is suitable to your needs. It is this combination of knowledge that leaves us ideally placed to recommend job seekers to employers, ensuring an honest appraisal of skills, ability and personality to fit in with your business.
We would rather say we haven’t got the right person for you, than give you a square peg!
Why do you need an Agency worker?
Longer term
Perhaps you wish a safety person to cover a shut down/maintenance contract you have, for a period of a few months or for some longer term construction that may last through the year.
We can offer you just the one CV or a selection of potential candidates, depending on your needs.
Short term
You may just require some one to cover a safety gap left due to holiday absence or just to get you on track with safety management systems and training.
Specific skills
This is generally a short term contract provision to fill a specific need of specialist skills knowledge that may not be retained in-house, or use us to provide an external source of independence to control your contractors or liaise with a client.
-
Safety Specialist
This could be for CDM, asbestos, fire, food or even accident investigation, either way let SHE Knows provide you with someone to fill that technical skills gap. -
Firewatchers
Another aspect of our agency role is the covering of basic safety provision for refinery work by the training and provision of firewatchers. -
Part-time
You may need some specialist skills knowledge to assist you grow as a business or mentoring to develop your own safety staff. This can be addressed either by supporting you with an Agency worker or on our retained consultancy basis. -
Retained Consultant
This option allows you to select a number of days for the year and then use them as and when you need them.
For example, to set up safety systems, getting your safety policy and risk assessments right, and assisting you with external accreditation such as CHAS , required by a growing number of councils and clients as part of their procurement process.
