We are an SME formed in 2003, so understand the commercial implications of implementing SHE standards within a company. With a £1 million turnover and 15 staff drawn from a variety of SHE backgrounds (councils, MOD, engineering, production, construction, off shore and service industries) we understand how to lead both the shop floor and Directors, into developing a safety culture for your company. If we had to describe the companies ethos in one punch-line, I think that we could say that are the “white van man of safety”, says Linda Crossland-Clarke, SHE Knows Director. We have specialist consultants e.g. (fire, engineering, trade unions, food, education to name a few) and have built up a network of approved consultants who have the same ethos as ourselves. If we can’t deliver it, then we know a man who can!

SHE Knows also seeks to drive the cost of safety down, by tapping into local funding through Regional Development Agencies, and the Learning and Skills Council. Not only can we reduce the cost of implementing safety within your company, we are then working with you to reduce your long terms costs by reducing the potential for accidents and negligence claims.
