with Hull & Goole College in order to enhance the training needs
of industries throughout the UK, thus ensuring personnel are professionally and
correctly trained.
OFF-SITE TRAINING
In recognition that to many of the trainees the classroom environment can be intimidating,
we have taken special care to balance practical activities with classroom tuition,
which at Goole is provided in the relaxed, comfortable surroundings of a state of
the art training facilities. I am accredited to nationally accredited standards
as endorsed by the Health & Safety Commission. Along with holding other professional
awards, such as the 730-7 City & Guilds teachers award. I and fellow instructors
have a wealth of industrial experience and knowledge that will benefit students
greatly no matter what their vocation. All coursework is well supported by course
notes and literature with power-point presentations, thus ensuring students receive

Is a dedicated training provider for all industries driven on the back of years

It should be noted that we make use of modern handling equipment for greater efficiency
in the workplace, but if the equipment is misused, or even operated in an unsafe

Why Train?
It’s a legal requirement under Health and Safety Work Law; that Employers ensure
all persons are suitably trained. And given information, instruction, training
and supervision.
PUWER Regulations 1998, Regulation 9 stipulates that “Employers must ensure
no persons operates or uses mobile work equipment unless they have been suitably
and adequately trained by an accredited instructor to an accredited standard.
Training delivered will be of a very high standard and meets all the relevant legal
requirements as endorsed by Health & Safety Commission as well as being delivered
to nationally accredited standards i.e. ITSSAR / NPORS. Information on the accredited
